SECURITY

In every work activity, we can identify the dangers that surround us, whether in machines, infrastructure, or work procedures. Many of these dangers are visible and therefore the risks involved can be identified and controlled. However, in every process there are potential dangers that cannot be easily seen. We are referring to the risk related to electricity, which is a danger and if not handled correctly can cause serious and even fatal injuries. Therefore, it is very important for us to maintain the safety of our collaborators, this implies being up to date with the equipment, electrical safety practices and constant training.
Below are some requirements to consider. It is necessary to use personal protective equipment such as: Safety glasses, chamois gloves, safety shoes, fireproof clothing, balaclava, a dielectric helmet, safety chinstrap, among others. Among the electrical safety practices we can consider: Working with cables or electrical equipment, suppose that you are working with energized elements and act accordingly, checking the electric current with a pole, voltage detector, anti-electric arc mask, dielectric and leather gloves, as appropriate.
Ensuring that our employees receive ongoing training in electrical safety will allow us to make well-informed decisions when working with electricity. Failure to take this issue seriously can lead to an accident.
